She is documented as the oldest British mother. Anyone sharing a name with Her Majesty, the Queen of England must be special. Elizabeth gave birth to her child at the age of 66. There have been backlash from medical practitioners for her choice of IVF treatment sighting concerns about the child having some psychological problems.
Even Prof Severino Antinori, who helped another 62-year-old Briton Patricia Rashbrook give birth some years back claimed he was stunned at the prospect of Ms Adeney giving birth.
“I respect the choice medically but I think anything over 63 is risky because you cannot guarantee the child will have a loving mother or family,” he added.
“It is possible to give a child to the mother up to the age of 83 but it is medically criminal to do this because the likelihood is the child will lose his mum and suffer from psychological problems.”
Both mother and child are currently feeling fine and have not suffered in any way.
